Dear Friends,
The Hotcakes have been selected as one of four finalists in the 2011 HARD ROCK BATTLE OF THE BANDS!
What’s the prize?
The chance to play in front of over 70,000 people, opening for BON JOVI in London (the one in England)!!!
This is our biggest show ever. Plain and simple. In order to get there, we need YOU. Audience participation is a KEY component to winning this competition, and it’s FREE to attend.
Speaking of participation, we decided to include you in this competition! How? As part of the rules, each band must play a Bon Jovi cover. We can’t decide what to play, so we thought we’d let you choose. Bon Jovi has put out so many legendary songs, but we’ve narrowed down the selection to the three below. Vote for your favorite, and YOU tell us which one to play:
1. Livin’ on a Prayer
2. She’s a Little Runaway
3. Wanted Dead or Alive
To vote, email the band at info@thehotcakes.com, and tell us which song you want us to play. The winning song will be covered by the band that night!

What: The 2011 HARD ROCK BATTLE OF THE BANDS
Where: Hard Rock Café – 1501 Broadway @ 43rd Street, NYC, NY
When: Thursday, March 10th, 9:45pm – PLEASE BE ON TIME, as we take the stage precisely at 10 (it’s only a 20 minute set)!
Why: Because it’s time we took our sound across the pond!
Ticket price: FREE
ALL ARE WELCOME (it’s an all-ages show!), so bring your friends, and your friends’ friends!
The judges are Island Records, FUSE TV, and 95.5 WPLJ!
